Haughmond Hill Walk

We recently went for a lovely walk at Haughmond Hill as it’s finally cooled off here in the UK for now. It was fairly quiet given that it was half-term for the schools then, but we did get there for just after 9am to beat the crowds. We did the Wilbur Walk, I think it's called, it's about 3.25 miles according to my Apple Watch.

On the way back, we stopped off at the ruins of Haughmond Abbey, which is a medieval abbey from the 12th century. It was closed during Henry VIII’s Dissolution of the Monateries in 1539.
